# TT vs A2s: preflop equity

TT is a big favorite over A2s before the flop: 67.69% to 32.31% equity, counted exactly over every board, with the split by flop type and suit.

If TT and A2s get all the chips in before the flop, TT owns 67.69% of the pot in the long run and A2s owns 32.31%.

## TT against A2s: the numbers

**Exact preflop results for TT against A2s, in percent**

| Hand | Wins | Ties | Loses | Equity |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| TT | 67.471 | 0.431 | 32.098 | 67.686 |
| A2s | 32.098 | 0.431 | 67.471 | 32.314 |

TT and A2s are a pocket pair and a suited hand, in that order. One of the other hand's cards outranks the pair and one is below it, which makes this a closer race than a pair against two small cards.

That is a clear edge, 67.69% to 32.31%, but A2s still wins often enough that one hand proves nothing. Split pots make up 0.43% of the boards, and both equity figures count them as half a win each.

TT ranks number 5 of 169 starting hands, and A2s ranks number 46, by equity against a random hand.

**Boards behind the percentages: 41,095,296 counted in all**

| Hand | Boards won, about | Boards tied, about | Boards lost, about |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| TT | 27,727,000 | 177,000 | 13,191,000 |
| A2s | 13,191,000 | 177,000 | 27,727,000 |

The board total is exact, 24 deals at 1,712,304 boards each. Won, tied and lost counts are rounded to the nearest thousand from the five-decimal percentages.

**TT against A2s read as odds**

| Hand | Equity as odds (to 1) | Wins one deal in | Loses one deal in | Pot odds needed to call (to 1) |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| TT | 2.095 | 1.482 | 3.115 | 0.477 |
| A2s | 0.477 | 3.115 | 1.482 | 2.095 |

In the last column, a pot-to-call ratio at or above the figure makes a call break even or better at this equity.

## Who is ahead on which flops

The page is built from a full enumeration: 1,712,304 boards, every suit pattern of the 24 specific deals, both seven-card hands evaluated. A tie is worth half a win to each hand, and a board is tallied under each of its ten possible flops for the texture rows.
