# Poker Mental Game Coaching

One-on-one mental game coaching about decisions, routines and preparation, built from your own hands, with ten free guides on tilt, variance and bankroll.

Mental game coaching is about decisions, routines and preparation: how steady your choices stay when a bad run, a long session or a tight bankroll pushes on them. A session is 60 minutes at $150, built from your own hands.

- Session: 60 min
- Price: $150
- Free guides: 10

## What is a mental game session?

A mental game session is a 60-minute video session about the decisions that change under pressure. It is a focus you choose when you book any session credit, and it works from your own hands, your session notes and the routines around your play.

The work is practical. You bring hands where you were unsure, the session checks them against the pot odds and equity, finds the pattern, and ends with a short written routine for you to practice.

## Which topics can a session cover?

Mental game topics and where to read about each:

| Topic | What it covers | Guide |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Tilt | What it changes in your play, its triggers, and a stop rule | What is tilt in poker? |
| Variance | Exact odds of losing runs, and how to judge decisions inside them | Variance in poker, explained |
| Decision fatigue | How decisions change as a session runs long, and session length | Decision fatigue in long poker sessions |
| Bankroll stress | Written money rules, so the money stays out of the hand | Bankroll stress in poker |
| Routines | A between-hands routine and before and after checklists | Building a between-hands routine |

## How do I book mental game coaching?

Start with the Game Assessment ($150): you send 3 hands ahead, they are reviewed against the numbers, and you get a one-page written plan in a 60-minute session. Then choose "Mental game" as the focus on the session booking page. A mental game session costs the same as any session, $150 for 60 minutes, and uses a session credit.

## Which mental game guides should I read first?

Ten free guides cover the topics above. If you are not sure where to start, read what the mental game is, then what tilt is, then the checklist guide, which turns the rest into one page you can copy.

The ten guides:

| Guide | What it answers |
| --- | --- |
| What is the mental game in poker? | The mental game is the set of habits that keep your decisions steady when the table, the stack or the clock pushes on them. |
| What is tilt in poker? | Tilt is a drop in decision quality after something goes wrong, and it can be spotted by the plays it changes. |
| Types of tilt in poker | Tilt comes in recognizable kinds, and each kind changes a different part of your decisions. |
| Tilt after a bad beat: what to do next | A bad beat is a normal part of the game; this guide shows what to check and what to do on the next hand. |
| Variance in poker, explained | Variance is how far short-run outcomes move around the long-run average, shown here with exact losing-run odds. |
| Downswings and decisions: how to keep playing your plan | How to look at your decisions, not your recent outcomes, when a stretch of play goes badly. |
| Decision fatigue in long poker sessions | How decision quality changes as a session runs long, and a plan for session length, breaks and a stop rule. |
| Bankroll stress: how money rules shape decisions | How the size of your bankroll relative to a game changes your decisions, and how a written plan keeps them steady. |
| Building a between-hands routine | A short routine you run between hands so your next decision starts from your plan. |
| A pre-session and post-session checklist for poker | Two short checklists that set your plan before a session and review your decisions after it. |
