# If you are a player whose play slips late

A mental game plan for a player whose decision quality drops as a long session runs on, built on decisions and routines.

You play long sessions and notice you make plays late that you would not make early. This plan looks at the decisions, using your own hands and your own routines.

## Who this is for

- You play long sessions, live or online, and make plays late that you would not make early.
- You want to look at decisions, not at feelings: what you do at hour four that you do not do at hour one.
- You are happy to work from your own hands and your own routines.

## The situation

Decision quality can slip with fatigue, after a bad beat and after a swing in your stack. Each one is a trigger to watch for.

A routine between hands, a scheduled break and a written stop rule are decisions you make once, calmly, instead of in the moment.

Comparing the hands before and after a trigger shows which decisions change: calls, sizing or the hands you choose to play.

The numbers help. Pot odds and equity are the same at hour four as at hour one, so checking a late hand against them shows the gap.

Naming a trigger gives you something concrete to act on.

## The plan

The package for this plan is Five Sessions: 5 sessions of 60 minutes for $750 in all. Your Game Assessment counts as the first session if you buy the package within 14 days of it, and the package then costs $600 for the other 4 sessions.

You book each session with the Mental game focus. It costs the same as any other session and changes nothing about your credits.

1. **Game Assessment.** The 3 hands you send ahead, from late in a long session, are checked against equity and pot odds. You leave with a one-page plan.
2. **Finding your triggers.** You map the moments when your decisions change, using your own session notes and hand histories.
3. **A between-hands routine.** You build a short routine you can run at the table in a few seconds.
4. **Session rules.** A written plan for session length, breaks and a stop rule, decided in advance.
5. **Pre-session and post-session checklists.** A checklist for the start and the end of a session, and a short review habit.

## What you leave with

- A one-page written plan from the assessment.
- A between-hands routine you wrote yourself.
- A short list of your own triggers, in your own words.
- A written set of session rules: length, breaks and a stop rule.
- A pre-session and post-session checklist.
