About George Li

I coach No-Limit Hold'em one on one, online. Every spot we look at is checked against the numbers: equity, pot odds, ranges and ICM. The free calculators on this site show the same method.

How sessions run

From the first session to the last, the work rests on three things: your own hands, the numbers behind each decision, and something written to take away.

  1. Step 1

A paid Game Assessment comes first

It is 60 minutes on video. Before it, you send me three hands through your account, and they use none of your review credits. We go through each one against equity, pot odds, ranges and ICM numbers, and you leave with a one-page written plan. Questions before you book go by email to hello@georgelipoker.com or through the contact form.

  2. Step 2

Sessions work from your own hands

Each session starts from hands you played and ends with a short list of drills: a calculator or data page from this site, plus a set of hands to review before we meet again.

  3. Step 3

    Hand reviews are written down

Every hand you send gets a written breakdown of the ranges, the equity and the pot odds, with ICM where it applies. In the Hand Review Pack I also record a video walkthrough of the hands.

  4. Step 4

Mental game sessions work the same way

A session can be about tilt, variance, decision fatigue or bankroll stress instead of strategy. We use your own hands and your own routines, and you leave with a short written routine to practice.

Start with your hands

The Game Assessment is the first step: three of your hands, checked against the numbers, and a written plan to take away.
