Who this is for
- You play live no-limit Hold'em cash games at a casino or card room, mostly at the lowest levels offered.
- You want a way to decide when to move up, and to know what changes when you get there.
- You can play a hand from start to finish. You want structure, not an introduction to the rules.
The situation
Deeper stacks and bigger bets change which preflop ranges work and how often a flop bet gets called.
More players raise and fewer limp, so position and bet sizing carry more weight than they did.
Table and seat choice matter more than most players expect. You learn what to check before you sit down, such as how deep the stacks are and how many players see each flop.
You also need two rules, set in advance and written in numbers: when to move up, and when to step back down. Both come from your bankroll, not from how the last session felt.
The plan
The package for this plan is Five Sessions: 5 sessions of 60 minutes for $750 in all. Your Game Assessment counts as the first session if you buy the package within 14 days of it, and the package then costs $600 for the other 4 sessions.
Game AssessmentThe 3 hands you send ahead are checked against equity, pot odds and range numbers. You leave with a one-page written plan.
Preflop at deeper stacksOpening ranges by position, raise sizes against live opponents, and which hands to fold to a raise.
Flop and turn plansContinuation bets, check-raises and when to give up a hand, using board texture and the equity of your range.
Math at the tablePot odds, outs and the rule of 2 and 4, with calculator drills so you can practice the numbers for a live hand.
The move-up planA written rule for moving up and for stepping back down, notes on picking a table, and a drill list for your own practice.
What you leave with
- A one-page written plan from the assessment.
- Opening and defending range charts by position, for the stack depth you actually play.
- A written move-up rule and a written move-down rule, both in numbers.
- A drill list that pairs each idea with a calculator or data page and a set of hands to review.
